::Shakes Head::

Yeah I know... I've been a very very bad blogger, a dissapointment to all who have blogged before me. So now that I got that out of the way I intend to keep my blog as up to date as possible.

Ah.... news yes I'll start by telling all that has happened since my last post. Gill, Simon and I are all going to CHA in January. I'm not sure how much Simon will enjoy it being the burly man that he is heheh but it might be nice to have someone there who can keep an eye on the spending.

I have continued getting into Digital Scrapbooking but I don't think anything could completely replace paper. I have started a scrapbook for my father-in-law's 65th birthday and it has been really fun looking through all the old photos and seeing how people and places have changed. Once I finish I'll post some pics.

I'm off to Gill's class in a bit and I am really looking forward to making the little Halloween book she has planned...just hope there are no spiders!

Keep an eye out for a new look to the blog as well!

Yeaaa internet has returned

Its official Microsoft are evil. Besides making me a Xbox widow their newest security patch killed my Internet connection. But alas all is good now. Gibside was great and I hope we have another weekend soon and to all those concerned my Stickles thumb has healed. I've been dabbling a bit more in digi scrapping and here is the result...all without inky fingers :) Toodles Noodles!

Pics coming once Ive given it (don't want to ruin the surprise). Now off to pack for the crop tomarrow. I'm determined to travel light but eh we will see what happens.

OMG Mr. Pickle is coming!

Im so excited that Mr Pickle aka Lance Anderson is coming to teach a few classes with the shop. He contacted us out of the blue as a stop between his London and Scottish classes. It took a bit of organizing and lots of missed emails and calls due to the time zone diffrence but we finally snagged him. I've signed up to the the Rustic Journey class in the afternoon. Isn't it lush :). All the info and pics of the classes can be found at http://www.scrapbookshop.co.uk/acatalog/Rusty_Pickle_Class.html if anyone is tempted.

Ahhhh Fridays

I love Fridays and I love them even more after a BUSY Thursday. We got loads of new goodies in the shop so most of my Thursday was spent putting them into the till and drooling over the NEW Prima and SEI. Gill's scrapbooking class was fab and quite relaxing. We painted one of those Prima Paintables 12x12 papers with swirls and flowers pic coming as soon as I finish :).

We just got Crate Paper's Static and Blue Hill collections in at the shop. I had
just the perfect pics for the Static collection. Simon and I were invited to the First Annual Custom Bike Show in Venice Beach, California by a few friends at college in June 06. There are very few places like Venice Beach, it's loud, dirty and home to some very questionable characters but it's undeniably Californian.
